Shelly Volsche formed Volsche Design, LLC in January 2008. However, her art and design career goes back much further as a freelance and in house designer.
In mid-1999, Shelly began working as an administrative assistant with American Express's Electronic Merchant Services department. Her co-workers quickly discovered her knack for computers and eye for design. Through the use of tutorial discs and small in house projects, she began to learn the software and writing skills that would define her future career goals.
Through the years, Shelly has worked in house for a variety of companies including RSM McGladrey and Absolute Designers. It was late in 2006 when she decided to begin freelance work. She enjoys the flexibility to create out of the box designs that suite small business needs while developing brand identity for companies that usually could not otherwise do so.
In addition to her graphic design skills, Shelly has a background in the arts that includes computer generated art, visual art, and photography. She has found having a rounded background allows her to provide a full spectrum of services to small businesses and individual clients. She is available for photography sessions and commissioned artwork for private individuals as well as small businesses.
In her spare time, Shelly enjoys spending time with her family, studying Japanese culture, volunteering with the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and studying canine behavior.
